Broad Peak (Pakistan)

Broad Peak stands 8,047 m from sea level and is the 12th highest peak in the world. It is located in Pakistan near Tibetan border. Local name for this mountain is “Falchan Kangri”. It is part of the Gasherbrum massif. It is elongated mountain with several summit point.

Broad Peak is easiest to climb among 8000 meters high mountains of Pakistan. It is frequently used by climbers of K2 for acclimatization process.
