Chukkung Ri is located in Khumbu region of Nepal. It is one of the many peaks In Khumbu. Khumbu is popular known for its geographical formation of high peaks. It have unmatched natural beauty created by high mountains, white water rivers that is originated from those mountains and lush green forest as the altitude drops. There are number of wild animals and birds which live in dense forest of lower altitude. The people of this region is also well-known for their hospitable and friendly nature. People of the region have separate culture and tradition.
Chukkung Ri is relatively small trekking peaks of the region. It is only 5550 meter high and lies in the Chukkung valley. It’s a rocky peak that lies just beside Chukkung village. It takes few hour of walk from village to reach summit. It is non-technical mountain and often used for acclimatization process of climbing other higher mountains. It is best for those who are just starting mountaineering adventure. Mt. Makalu, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Amadablam, Island peak are some of mountains that can be viewed closely from the summit.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Pre-trip Meeting and city sightseeing.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar.
Day 05: Rest in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization.
Day 06: Trek to Dingbhuche.
Day 07: Trek to Chhukung.
Day 08: Climb the peak and back to Chhukung.
Day 09: Trek back to Pangboche.
Day 10: Trek back to Namche Bazaar.
Day 11: Trek back to Lukla.
Day 12: Take flight back to Kathmandu.
Day 13: Transfer to International airport for final departure.
