Lobuje / Lobuche East

Lobuje is common name shared by two peaks connected by long ridge between them. These peaks are Lobuje East and Lobuje West. Lobuje East is slightly shorter than its counterpart, Lobuje West. It is located in Khumbu region of Nepal. It is one of the most popular trekking peak in Khumbu region and often used by many mountaineers as acclimatization peak before attempting higher mountains.

Lobuje is 6,119 meter high and lies to famous Khumbu Glacier. This peak is considered not very difficult peak, it requires some technical knowledge. Often normal route south ridge is used to get to summit.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding

Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar.

Day 04: Rest day for acclimatization.

Day 05: Trek to Tengbouche.

Day 06: Trek to Pheriche.

Day 07: Trek to Lobuche.

Day 08: Trek to Loboje Base Camp.

Day 09-13: Climbing Period.

Day 14: Trek back to Base Camp.

Day 15: Trek back to Tengbouche.

Day 16: Trek to Manjo.

Day 17: Trek to Lukla.

Day 18: Fly back to Kathmandu.

Day 19: Transfer to International Airport for final departure.
