Mt. Makalu

Standing close of world highest peak (Mt. Everest), Makalu is 5th highest peak in the world. It is 8,485m high. It is massive Mountain of red granite which lies in Northeastern of region of Nepal.­ it was first successful climbed by an American team. Jean Franco was first person to summit this giant.

Mt. Makalu is pyramid shaped mountain and consider as one of the most difficult mountain to climb among 8000 meters peaks. It is difficult because of steep vertical pitches and sharp-edged ridges. There several routes for climbing this mountain as far 5 routes. Although, it is best to use easy and safe route.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu.
Day 02: Pre-trip meeting and preparation of the expedition including documental work.
Day 03: Fly to Tumlingtar and start trekking.
Day 04-14: Trek to Makalu Base Camp.
Day 15-43: Climbing Period.
Day 44-50: Trek back to Tumlingtar.
Day 51: Fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 52: Transfer to International Airport for final departure.
