Pokhalde Peak

Pokhalde stands 5,860 meter high peak in Khumbu. It also called as Dolma Ri by some. It is relatively short peak in the region. Khumbu region is vast network of trails and high mountains. It consists of many mountains including Mt. Everest, world highest peak. Many fast flowing white water river origin from foot of these mountains. As altitude drops, there is thick vegetation which makes nature beautiful and abundance of wild life and birds. The amazing geographic of the region attraction many tourists every year. Adventure seeking place to test their limitation usually comes to this place. This region is also known for people with very hospitable and friendly nature.

Although Pokhalde is short rocky peak, it provides amazing opportunity to experience mountaineering in Nepal. It is suitable for beginners of mountaineering. This peak can be seen from above Pangboche. It is in front of giant mountain, Nuptse. It looks subtlety small in front of other huge neighboring mountains.

The summit of this peak is amazing viewpoint. Mt. Makalu, Mt. Pumori and Mt. Ama Dabalam are some of the famous mountains of the region can be view clearly form the summit.

Day 04: Rest day for acclimatization.

Day 05: Trek to Tengboche.

Day 06: Trek to Pheriche.

Day 07: Rest day.

Day 08: Trek to Lobuche.

Day 9-10: Climbing Period.

Day 11: Trek back to Lobuche.

Day 12: Trek to Chukhung.

Day 13: Trek to Tengboche.

Day 14: Trek to Namche.

Day 15: Trek to Lukla.

Day 16: Fly to Kathmandu

Day 17: Transfer to International Airport for final departure.
